About the Role:

We are on the lookout for skilled Mechanical Installers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various components for our vehicles and trailers. Your keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with hand and power tools will be crucial to your success.

Compensation:

  • Pay: $23.00/hr - $27.00/hr (based on experience, with opportunities for advancement)

Work Schedule:

  • Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Overtime: Currently working overtime on Fridays, expect to work 40-50 hours a week

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of mechanical or carpentry experience (preferably in an industrial setting)
  • Safety-oriented and conscious
  • Electrical experience is a plus
  • Any OSHA certification is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical & Electrical Builds: 75% mechanical and 25% electrical
  • Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install components into trailers, vans, RVs, etc.
  • Tool Utilization: Use hand and power tools for installation and assembly
  • Troubleshooting: Install and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assemblies (wiring harnesses, control switches, hydraulic components, etc.)
  • Technical Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure proper setup, functionality, quality, and accuracy
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process inspections to ensure accuracy and completion

Work Environment:

  • Shop Floor: Work primarily on the shop floor with vehicle and trailer assembly lines
  • Exposure: Moderate noise, moving equipment, and possible chemicals or solvents—PPE may be required
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with Friday overtime (currently 5 days, 10 hours each)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
