Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by state regulations
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
  • Ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Excellent munication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and students

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct therapy sessions and document progress notes accurately
  • Prepare materials and activities designed to enhance munication skills
  • Support students in improving articulation, language prehension, fluency, and social munication
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights regarding student progress and needs
