Position Details:

• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Hours: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (Friday Night, Saturday Night, Sunday Night Off)
• Type: Long-term 2nd shift position

Key Responsibilities:

• Punch Press Operation: Operate mechanical and electronic feed punch presses for smooth production.
• Manufacturing Line Support: Assist on various manufacturing lines throughout the building and contribute to improving manufacturing processes.
• Die Setting: Set up and adjust dies with precision.
• Kick Press & Hand Operations: Operate kick presses and hand tools across production stages.
• Quality Production: Deliver high-quality work efficiently to meet customer needs.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine machinery maintenance per procedures.
• Backup Shear Operator: Step in as needed to support shear operations.
• Standard Work Procedures: Write and maintain SOPs for clarity and consistency.
• Cross-Training & Flexibility: Float across trained areas to meet production demands.

Special Job Characteristics:

• Use measuring devices accurately.
• Stand or sit for long periods.
• Work with hand tools and machinery.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain strong attention to detail.
• Be flexible and adaptable.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Solve problems with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

Experience & Skills:

• Print reading is desirable but not required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Machinery experience is welcomed but not required.
• Attention to detail and adaptability.
• Previous 2nd shift experience is helpful but not necessary.
