A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elk Grove, CA, for the upcoming academic year. This contract role supports elementary-aged students and offers a dynamic caseload to utilize and develop specialized skills in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication and academic success.
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participating in professional development opportunities and team meetings to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification/license.
- Certifications such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in school-based settings, pediatrics, healthcare, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while adapting to diverse student needs.

- Location: Elk Grove, CA (Elementary School)
- Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY), start ASAP, ending at the end of the school year (EOSY).
- Caseload size and specific work hours to be determined.
