Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Audiologist to provide vital audiology services across multiple K-12 schools within the Virginia Beach area. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026, offering the chance to lead and develop a district-wide audiology program, which was previously managed by a local clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing exams and audiological assessments at various school locations
- Travel between assigned schools to deliver itinerant services across the district
- Develop and implement a specialized audiology program tailored to the needs of K-12 students
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support students hearing health and academic success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree (PhD) in Audiology is required
- Active and valid Audiologist license
- Experience working within educational environments preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills will be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple school sites
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned district
