Job DescriptionSalary:

On Demand Counseling of Austintown is looking for a Medical Assistant. Help make a positive change in a positive and healing environment.

Standard Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with staff regarding clients and service performed.
  • Perform assigned clinical duties such as urine drug screens, breathalyzer testing, injections, phlebotomy services and completion of vitals.
  • Properly and accurately document data related to the identification of the donor and completion of sample labels, logs, and billing sheets.
  • Adheres to quality assurance and quality control procedures in the performance of all screenings/testing.
  • Complete daily paperwork and enter.
  • Track drug screens to coordinate care and ensure completion of appropriate drug screens.
  • Performs other clerical duties including inventory and maintenance of supplies, copying, faxing, scanning and mailing as assigned.
  • Attend required training's and maintain required credentials associated with the position.


Required Qualifications:

  • Current medical assistant certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current Phlebotomy Licensure
  • Knowledge of medical procedures, operations and terminology.
  • Experience with working with management and staff supervision, including working with a team.
  • Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
