Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Folsom, CA is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Nuclear Medicine and CT technology, paired with strong technical knowledge and certifications to provide excellent imaging services.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Nuclear Medicine experience required, 3+ years preferred
  • Experience as a Nuclear Medicine (Nuc Med) and CT Technologist
  • Certification as a CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
  • Valid state license to practice
  • Proficiency with imaging procedures including Nuclear Cardiology, PET, HIDA Scan, MUGA Scan, and others
  • Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
  • Skilled in handling and disposal of radioactive materials safely
  • Ability to start and maintain IVs and draw venous blood
  • Knowledge of various stress tests (Adenosine infusion, Exercise/Rest, Persantine infusion, Pharmacological Stress, Thallium stress test)
  • Competent in isolation precautions and patient safety protocols

Location:Folsom, CA is a vibrant city known for its scenic nature, outdoor recreational activities, and a friendly community atmosphere. Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and CT imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as Philips and Siemens scanners
  • Manage radioactive materials in compliance with safety standards
  • Conduct various nuclear cardiac and body imaging protocols
  • Respond to rotating call schedules including weekends and evenings
  • Maintain thorough and precise patient records

Schedule / Hours:

  • Day shift, 5 days per week (5x8), 06:30 or 07:30 start time
  • Rotating call on weekends and evenings
