Job Title: Radiologic Technologist X-Ray (Prison Facility)
Location: North Bay / Marin / Ukiah, CA
Pay Range: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
Shift: Evenings, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load (overtime if applicable)
On-Call: Yes, discussed during interview
Position Overview
This role provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to correctional facilities, nursing homes, healthcare centers, and other facilities. The Radiologic Technologist operates portable digital or computed radiography equipment, ensuring clinically accurate images for physician interpretation. The position requires travel between sites, professional communication with healthcare teams, and the ability to work in secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-rays using portable DR or CR equipment
- Transmit completed studies to Radiologists for interpretation
- Conduct EKGs when required and send to Cardiologists
- Transport and unload imaging equipment into facilities
- Obtain diagnostic-quality images following physician orders
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and assigned vehicle
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork daily per protocol
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Valid California state radiology license (limited license not accepted)
- Valid California drivers license in good standing
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to push/pull 50100 lbs with assistance equipment
Compensation and Benefits
