Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Days: Monday – Friday

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Compensation:

• Weekly Gross: $2,530

• W2 Rate: $18/hour

• Stipend: $1,855/week

• Local Pay: $54/hour

Position Summary:

The Registered Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a radiology department setting. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and adherence to established imaging protocols and professional guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and ACR guidelines.

• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.

• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively to obtain optimal diagnostic images.

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging results.

• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care.

• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

• Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout examinations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• ARDMS registration required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.

• Breast ultrasound experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and ACR guidelines.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Word, Outlook).
