Founded by physical therapists in 2000, Green Oaks Physical Therapy now has 17 locations and is still growing. We have an immediate need for a Part-Time Physical Therapist Technician. Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Technician in Grand Prairie, United States! We're seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to support our physical therapy department in providing exceptional care to our patients.

  • Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care and treatment plans
  • Prepare treatment areas and set up therapy equipment for patient sessions
  • Demonstrate exercises and assist patients with prescribed therapeutic activities
  • Apply hot and cold packs, and other modalities as directed by the physical therapist
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers as needed
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
  • Ensure proper maintenance and care of therapy equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a positive and supportive patient experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; current enrollment in a physical or occupational therapy curriculum program preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Genuine interest in helping people and commitment to patient care
  • Solid work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocols
  • Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a supportive environment for patients
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
