Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare setting is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a specialty pharmacy environment. The role focuses on a blend of retail pharmacy and long-term care duties, supporting patients with diverse medication needs. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in retail pharmacy, as well as experience or interest in long-term care pharmacy services.
Location:
- Grand Rapids, MN
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Possible rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and manage prescription medications for retail pharmacy patients
- Oversee long-term care pharmacy services, coordinating medication therapy for extended care residents
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Provide immunizations and patient counseling as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota pharmacist license
- PharmD degree or equivalent experience
- Immunization certification and CPR certification required
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
