The ALAMEDA BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SPECIALISTS are looking for Speech-Language Pathologists in Oakland! As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work to assess and treat communication disorders in students. You will serve K-12 public school programs. You will furthermore help implement and develop student IEPs, and will collaborate with other professionals to evaluate student needs and abilities.
Job Details:
- 37-40 hours a week
- Monday through Friday
- Start Date: August 9th, 2026
- End Date: Dependent on Contract
- In-person only
- Type: Full Time
- Wage: $50.00 - $60.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Duties may vary based on assignment
- Work with a maximum of fifty separate school-based cases
- Test, evaluate, record, and recognize language disabilities of varying levels of severity
- Employ novel intervention strategies to meet IEP goals
- Provide therapy to individuals and groups, when necessary
- Communicate progress with fellow professionals and/or parents
- Collect data and submit reports to coincide with student progress
- Attend and participate in school staff meetings
Qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- Must pass a background check
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possesses licensing or credentials authorizing service as a Speech, Language, and Hearing Pathologist
