MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) – Night Shift | Travel Contract
Location: Saint Paul, MN 55102
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate:
• $70 to $75/hour (including stipend)
• Approx. $3,000/week depending on experience
Schedule
• Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Days: Monday – Thursday
• Shifts: 4 shifts per week
• Hours: 10.5 hours per shift
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-Call: None
• Orientation: 8 hours (Non-Billable)
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment.
The MRI Tech will perform diagnostic MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and efficient workflow in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform MRI scans following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
• Monitor patients during imaging to ensure safety and comfort
• Administer contrast media and start IV lines when required
• Operate MRI equipment and PACS imaging systems
• Perform image post-processing (MPR, MIP)
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Follow MRI safety, infection control, and facility protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
• ARRT (R) Certification – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• Experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures
• Ability to work independently on night shift
