Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team in building handheld spectrometers. This role involves assembling sub-assemblies to measure the weight of various metals, plastics, and industrial paints.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-components to build handheld spectrometers.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools such as torque drivers and screwdrivers.
  • Apply epoxy accurately and effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with assembly and hand tools.
  • Proficiency in following work procedures and SOPs.
  • Ability to work with torque drivers and screwdrivers.
  • Experience with epoxy applications.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass standard compliance checks
  • Demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Research skills to understand the company better.

Work Environment

Flexible start times are available, including shifts from 6am to 2:30pm, 6:30am to 3pm, and 7am to 3:30pm. Enjoy working in a clean manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tewksbury, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
