Metro EMS Ambulance Services is seeking motivated, compassionate, and dependable Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our growing team. We provide high-quality Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), interfacility, hospital discharge, behavioral health, and specialty medical transportation throughout Central Florida.

Responsibilities

- Provide safe and compassionate patient care during medical transport.

- Perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs.

- Assist Paramedics with ALS interventions.

- Safely operate ambulances in accordance with company policy and Florida law.

- Complete accurate electronic patient care reports (ePCR).

- Conduct daily ambulance, equipment, and supply inspections.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and infection control standards.

- Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospitals, nursing facilities, and patients.

- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

- Current Florida EMT License

- Current CPR/BLS Certification

- Valid Florida Driver License

- Clean driving record

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to lift and move patients with assistance

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

- Emergency or interfacility transport experience

- EVOC certification

- National Registry EMT certification

Schedule

- Full-Time

- Part-Time

- 12-hour or 13,-hour shifts available

- Day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
