We are seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging and therapeutic services for patients, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and performance of SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT studies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex nuclear medicine studies independently (planar, SPECT/CT, PET/CT).
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Assist with cardiac stress tests (IV starts, EKG lead placement).
  • Administer radioactive isotopes per authorized protocols.
  • Conduct daily, quarterly, and annual QC on imaging and lab equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety practices (ALARA) and maintain regulatory documentation.
  • Archive study data, manage PACS transfers, and document findings in electronic health records.
  • Respond to medical emergencies (CPR, oxygen, fluids) as needed.


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Certification: NMTCB or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. state license in Radiologic Technology
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 3 years of nuclear medicine experience
  • Knowledge of organ system anatomy and radiopharmaceutical procedures


Preferred:

  • Experience with advanced procedures: HIDA scans, Parathyroid imaging, I-131 therapy, Octreotide therapy, Cardiac stress testing
  • Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record systems
  • Ability to independently perform advanced imaging studies
