Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $44.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for U.S. multi-state and Canadian multi-province employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Audit payroll data for accuracy, including tax compliance and benefit deductions.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for HR, Finance, and leadership teams using Workday and ADP tools.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, system integration issues, and employee inquiries.
- Support year-end reporting activities, including W-2 and T4 preparation and compliance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience managing multi-state payroll in the U.S.; Canadian payroll experience.
- Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Workday HCM systems.
- Excellent analytical and auditing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Prior knowledge of payroll accounting principles and compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations.
- Previous experience with union payroll processing and benefit audits.
- Ability to troubleshoot payroll system issues and collaborate with vendors for resolution.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and working effectively in a diverse team environment.
