Cisco Inc. is seeking motivated and mechanically inclined Entry Level Shop Tech to join our Wyoming, MI shop. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a long-term career in industrial service work. No prior industry experience is required. We provide paid, hands‑on training!
As a Technician in Training, you’ll assist with the installation and repair of industrial batteries, chargers, and material handling equipment, becoming proficient through direct mentorship and shop-based experience.
Compensation is $16-$18 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial batteries and chargers
- Support fully trained technicians while learning service procedures
- Perform various shop tasks and general labor as needed
- Utilize laptops/tablets for service documentation
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting onsite
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the shop
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using basic technology (laptop, tablet, mobile apps)
