Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15), with every other weekend required.

\n\nJob Description\n

This position requires a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience to provide exceptional care in a hospital setting. Responsiveness to critical situations and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for this role.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Manage respiratory therapy treatments and procedures for patients across various age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.

\n

• Assist with intubation and extubation processes.

\n

• Provide care for tracheostomy patients and manage associated equipment.

\n

• Utilize various respiratory devices including BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula.

\n

• Implement and maintain ventilatory support and weaning protocols.

\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• NY State Respiratory Therapy License (required at time of submission).

\n

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.

\n

• 2+ years of experience in respiratory therapy with a preference for hospital experience.

\n

• Travel experience is preferred.
