Job Description
Job Description1. Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
2. Implement acquisition skills, maintenance skills and behavioral plan developed by the BCBA.
3. Collect data accurately.
4. Run skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal behavior.
5. Follow and complete all programs as directed by the BCBA.
6. Write daily notes at the end of each session.
7. Attend training as requested.
8. Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
9. Objectively analyze crisis situations.
10. Able to de-escalate and handle problem behaviors.
11. Respond quickly to emergency situations.
12. Communicate effectively and make recommendations to BCBA.
13. Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner.
14. Maintain professional communication skills with clients and clients’ loved ones.
15. Coordinate with parents scheduling in-home sessions.
16. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
17. Using computer software related programs.
