Multiple Openings – Training Available - 1st shift M-F
In this role, candidates will be working in a cell with both a CNC mill and lathe available. Candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce precision parts according to SOP’s and blueprints. This role involves ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC mills and lathes, including loading and unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Make necessary adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain high-quality output.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Report any significant deviations or defects to the supervisor and suggest improvements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Continuous improvement highly encouraged
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred)
- Experience as a CNC Operator/machinist preferably with a focus on mills and lathes.
- Experience with CNC set-up and software is a plus.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints/engineering drawings/SOP’s
- Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control techniques
- Basic computer skills for programming and machine control
- Willing to train candidate that show initiative
Pay Details: $42,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
