Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CT or compact license and at least two years of ICU experience for night shifts.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in the ICU of a short-term acute care hospital
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
- Works every other weekend and may float as needed
- Unit cares for both critical and non-critical patient populations
- Level II Trauma Center with 426 staffed beds
- Uses EPIC for charting
- RNs may be asked to take non-critical assignments alongside critical care patients
- Team members are expected to participate in emergency or natural disaster response if needed
- Up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved automatically
- Free parking is provided on-site
- First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
- Scrub color or uniform requirements not specified

- Active CT or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of two years ICU experience required
- Ability to float to similar units as needed
- Experience with both critical and non-critical patient care assignments required
- Must be able to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless a documented medical or religious exemption is provided
- Candidates must not have prior issues on their nursing license
- Returning former staff must have been separated for at least two years to be considered
- Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
