Job DescriptionStructural Fabrication Welder‑Fitter A day in this role
You begin your shift in our Canton, OH manufacturing facility—one of five AmbaFlex plants worldwide and the only one in the U.S., operating since 2010. After reviewing the production schedule, you pull up the latest technical drawings and verify dimensions, often switching between imperial and metric measurements. You set up welding equipment and prepare machines for the day’s build, then move seamlessly between welding techniques to customize parts and assemble frames for our spiral conveyor systems. Throughout the day, you’ll inspect individual components and fully built frames, document findings, and collaborate with teammates to improve products and processes.
What you’ll work on
- Interpret construction and fabrication drawings to plan builds
- Customize and fit parts using multiple welding and fabrication methods
- Set up machines and workstations for production runs
- Inspect components and completed frames for accuracy and quality
- Contribute ideas to enhance product design and shop processes
Shift options
- Day: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (4/10s)
- Night: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 p.m.–5:00 a.m. (4/10s)
About the team

What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent in reading technical/blueprint drawings
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Comfort with the metric system (preferred)
