Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Noblesville, IN for a contracted position. This role focuses on supporting students developmental and functional needs through therapeutic interventions within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy techniques to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functional abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings.
- Knowledge of pediatric therapy practices and school-based intervention.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Understanding of state and federal educational guidelines related to Occupational Therapy.
