Job Description
Pride Health is seeking a Histotechnician (ASCP Certified) to join our client’s team in Mountain View, CA. If you have a passion for precision and excellence in laboratory diagnostics, this is a great opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized histology procedures including embedding, microtomy, and staining.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure accurate specimen identification and labeling.
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure specimen integrity.
- Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory personnel to deliver timely and accurate results.
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Histotechnician Certification (ASCP) - Required
- Experience: Prior experience in a clinical histology laboratory preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Location: Mountain View, CA 94040
- Schedule: 9:30 PM - 5:00 AM / 8-hour night shifts
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $55 - $58/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
