Core Responsibilities of the Primary Therapist
• Responsible for a patient caseload. Will provide group, individual, and family therapy
• Conducts psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Collaborates with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan.
• Assists in coordinating discharge planning.
• Provides structure, boundaries, and a warm and caring environment.
• Maintains communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed.
• Works as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Promotes a positive morale and maintain professional composure.
Pay Range $65,000 to $85,000 annually commensurate with experience & Licensure.
Requirements:
Qualifications of the Primary Therapist
• Computer literacy required.
• 1-year experience working in Private substance abuse treatment Preferred.
• Licensure and/or (Intern License) to practice clinical discipline in Florida Preferred.
• KIPU EMR knowledge preferred.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid preferred.Master's Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field required.
