Overview:
A fast-growing medical device company focused on advanced surgical technology is seeking
a detail-oriented Production Support / Documentation Specialist.
This role is a mix of light assembly and documentation support, ideal for someone who is
organized, computer-savvy, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a regulated
manufacturing environment. This is a short-term contract (approx. 4 months) with
potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Consistent 40-hour work week
- Minimal overtime
Compensation:
- Starting at $27/hour
- +10% shift differential for swing shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production and assembly operations as needed
- Review and verify Device History Records (DHRs)
- Complete and maintain documentation and forms
- Perform accurate data entry
- Verify work order kits from the warehouse
- Assist with ordering parts and tracking materials
- Print and verify signage and labels
- Act as a floater supporting multiple areas
- Assist with light assembly during slower periods
- Follow SOPs and ensure compliance
Work Environment:
- Regulated medical device manufacturing environment
- May involve low-power microscopes
- Mix of desk work and hands-on tasks
- Team-oriented with training provided
Qualifications:
- Some college coursework preferred
- Strong computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to follow processes
- Comfortable multitasking
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Reliable and professional
