Scope of Work:
Perform quality system audits and verifications of contractual specifications and applicable regulations in direct support of the military unaccompanied housing contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular on-site inspections of contractor-performed maintenance and repair work to ensure adherence to contract requirements, building codes, and relevant standards.
- Evaluate workmanship, materials, and safety practices for compliance and report deficiencies.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily inspection reports documenting findings, progress, and any non-conformance.
- Verify that work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Monitor and document contractor performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Enforce established Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate inspections.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in Quality Control inspections.
- Previous Journeyman-Level work experience in the commercial construction industry in the skilled trades, including Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC.
- OSHA Certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required for the position.
- Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
- Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include but is not limited to a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and a 5-panel drug test, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
