Part time and full time available!
Our hot kitchen area is its own section where 1 chef will be in charge of handing all the hot items available on our menu as well as frying ingredients needed for rolls. You must be able to handle multiple orders and use the hot kitchen strategically in order to help keep orders go out smoothly. Dishes include appetizers (soups, edamame), ramen, stir fried noodles, and entrees. Communication and time management are crucial.
Requirements:
- Experience cooking hot food in a restaurant kitchen
- Experience with cooking Japanese cuisine
- Can multitask and work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
- Can handle multiple orders at once especially during peak dinner hours
Daily duties:
- Prep hot kitchen ingredients (cabbage, noodles, meats, veggies, etc).
- Help clean kitchen area at end of day
- Handle all hot kitchen orders (appetizers, entrees, and online orders) in a timely manner.
