Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Special Education Teacher to provide instructional support and accommodations for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Located in Glenrock, WY, this contract position runs through the end of the current school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact with K-12 students requiring specialized education services.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teaching License in the state of practice
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong understanding of special education laws, individualized education plans (IEPs), and classroom accommodations
Location: Glenrock, WY
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week across 5 days
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning disabilities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations
