About the Role:
The Warehouse Associate - Box Truck Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position involves not only driving a box truck to deliver goods but also managing inventory and maintaining the organization of the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading products, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with team members and other departments to coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels. Ultimately, the Warehouse Associate will contribute to the overall success of the business by ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of warehouse operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or driving role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a box truck to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload products from the truck, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong driving abilities and a keen attention to detail, which are essential for safely transporting goods and accurately managing inventory. Effective communication skills are also vital, as the Warehouse Associate will need to interact with team members and clients regularly. Time management skills will be utilized daily to ensure that deliveries are made on schedule and that warehouse tasks are completed efficiently. Additionally, problem-solving skills will come into play when addressing any issues that arise during deliveries or inventory management. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with inventory systems, will enhance the candidate's ability to contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
