- Manage daily restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring that standards for product and service quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and speed of service are met or exceeded.
- Assist in executing the restaurant's business plan, including managing inventory control, ordering products, cash control, and optimizing profits by controlling product and labor costs.
- Ensure that all Dairy Queen PRIDE systems and routines are incorporated into daily operations.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer complaints to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and developing shift leads and crew members, establishing performance expectations and conducting performance reviews.
- Prepare hourly employee schedules to meet staffing requirements for different day parts.
- Assist with local store marketing activities, such as public relations programs, evaluating competitors' marketing, and tracking consumer demands.
- Ensure that food safety and restaurant safety practices are being followed, including proper handwashing, product rotation, temperature logging, and maintenance of a safe facility environment.
