Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide primary care services to pediatric and adolescent patients, including preventative care, acute care, chronic disease management, and health education.
2. Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
3. Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose health conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
4. Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and within the scope of practice.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health issues, as well as current best practices in primary care.
6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and clinic operations.
7. Provide consultation services to other healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations on issues related to pediatric and adolescent health.
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
2. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of NC.
3. Current DEA license with the ability to prescribe medications.
4. Current certification in ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS.
