Position: Cold Heading Operator
Location: Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Schedule: 2:30pm-11:00pm
Pay: Competitive; based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time
- Job Summary
Set up and operate multi-die progressive heading machines to produce quality parts that meet production, safety, and specification requirements.
Responsibilities
• Set up and operate heading machines per job travelers and part drawings
• Inspect parts during production to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Troubleshoot and adjust processes to correct out-of-spec conditions
• Perform routine equipment and tooling maintenance while meeting production targetsMust Haves
• 10+ years of experience setting up and operating multi-die progressive headers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic cold header maintenance knowledge
• Proficiency using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators)Preferred Skills
• Experience designing or modifying tooling
• Experience with roll thread machines
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment (lathe, surface grinder, hydraulic press)#ZR
