Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional opportunity is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in nuclear imaging to support patient diagnostic services. This contract role is based in Saint Peters, Missouri, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or call responsibilities.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) is mandatory.
- Preferred certifications include PET (Positron Emission Tomography), ARRT(N), or NMTCB credentials.
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment from GE and Phillips, as well as PET scan technology.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
- Professional appearance with black or ceiling blue scrubs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures utilizing advanced imaging technology to aid in accurate diagnostics.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver timely and effective patient care.
- Document and manage patient data accurately within the Epic system.
