Job Description

Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A professional opportunity is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in nuclear imaging to support patient diagnostic services. This contract role is based in Saint Peters, Missouri, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or call responsibilities.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting.
Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) is mandatory.
Preferred certifications include PET (Positron Emission Tomography), ARRT(N), or NMTCB credentials.
Proficiency in operating imaging equipment from GE and Phillips, as well as PET scan technology.
Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
Professional appearance with black or ceiling blue scrubs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform nuclear medicine procedures utilizing advanced imaging technology to aid in accurate diagnostics.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver timely and effective patient care.
Document and manage patient data accurately within the Epic system.
