Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License in Washington State
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY
  • Experience with school-based settings, particularly with PreK-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Proficient in collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored IEPs based on individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote students communication skills
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust therapy techniques as required
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to comprehensive student support
  • Deliver services in both individual and group settings to enhance social language skills
