Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
- Valid state licensure appropriate to radiology tech practice
- Prior experience in general and specialized radiology procedures
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and following established safety protocols
- Strong understanding of anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, safety, and comfort throughout the procedure
- Operate and maintain radiology systems and equipment in accordance with safety and infection control guidelines
- Evaluate images for quality and provide technical support to physicians regarding diagnostic results
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documentation, and reports
- Assist in training and orienting new staff and students as needed
- Communicate empathetically with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
