Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of critical care experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- 12-hour AM shifts
- 13-week assignment term
- No on-call responsibilities
- Duties involve providing nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Strict guidelines for time-off: maximum of 5 days if not including a holiday, and maximum of 3 days if time-off includes or is near a holiday
- Only one holiday time-off request is allowed per assignment
- Requests for several days off during the holidays will not be approved
- Only one active assignment application allowed at a time
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months ICU experience required
- Former permanent staff at this health system must have a 1-year separation, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
