LOCATION: Our office is located in Minnetonka, MN. Candidates must reside in the Twin Cities area and will be required to be in-office 5 days per week. We do offer a flexible work environment, but this is not a hybrid role.

Overview
At RAZR, a Account Director is a leader in a fast-growing organization who will help develop and execute client relationships and strategy to support account growth. The Account Director will act as a primary contact and business liaison between the RAZR client and our internal, cross-functional teams.
The Account Director must gain a deep understanding of RAZR’s technology platform and our clients’ use of it and will lead our clients in their quest for smart, strategic marketing technology services. This leader will ensure outstanding client service by anticipating opportunities, resolving challenges, and proactively responding. While interacting with senior executives, the Account Director at RAZR will be expected to bring creative ideas to help RAZR clients attract, grow, and retain customers.
Responsibilities
- Primary point person for all clients on key RAZR account(s)
- Develop and execute account plans to grow revenue
- Communicate progress, plans, and problems to team and client services leadership, understanding when and how to escalate issues
- Deeply understand RAZR’s Fibonacci technology platform and how our clients are utilizing it.
- Be able to educate our clients and prospects on how RAZR can develop technological solutions to meet their needs
- Understand how to effectively manage client expectations and the team’s ability to meet those expectations
- Work with cross-functional team to deliver on client needs
- Initiate, prepare, and review SOWs for clients
- Accountable for client satisfaction and client retention
- Provide strategic thinking and a broad business perspective to support client business needs
- Utilize expertise in loyalty and channel insights to help develop annual or program-based plans for clients designed to effectively drive conversion, category growth, organic growth, while achieving customer objectives
- Possess a deep understanding of how target consumers behave in different channels and formats and leverage these insights to the benefit of all plans and stakeholders
- Work with account team to determine, author, and implement strategic growth plans, and provide direction to cross-functional teams for support
- Collect marketing campaign results, and work with the account team to present results and develop strategies for future execution
- Obtain and share key category insights with clients and internal teams, ensure that these are included in all relevant project and creative briefs
- Collaborate with internal teams and resources to deliver quarterly and annual business reviews with clients
- Collaborate with internal team to develop thought leadership content to set RAZR apart
- Participate in and lead organic growth and new business pitches as requested by the account team
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in client/partner relationship management and revenue generation
- Experience in navigating key decision makers in complex organizational structures
- Expertise in customer relationship management, new business growth and complex project management
- Deep experience in financial services, payments, or loyalty/rewards industries highly preferred
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn rapidly
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate and successfully work with others in a team-oriented environment
- Proven leadership skills with experience in developing, managing, and leading teams
- Emotional maturity, a professional mindset, and the utmost in discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
