Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Customer Service Agent to join our team in an office-based role. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, and customer service and be bilingual (English/Spanish). This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to monitor shipments, and customer inquiries while providing accurate freight quotes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics coordination – Quote in-land and international shipments, track shipments, communicate with carriers.
- Customer service – Assist customers with shipment inquiries, tracking, and problem resolution in a professional manner.
- Cross-team collaboration – Work closely with warehouse, billing, and operations teams to ensure smooth logistics processes.
- Bilingual communication – Professionally engage with internal teams and customers in both English and Spanish.
- Problem-solving – Troubleshoot shipment issues, optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, and customer service.
- Familiar with SED, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, in-lands, international and national freight
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required.
- Associate’s degree in a related field OR 3 years of equivalent experience in logistics.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel or Magaya.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with effective communication and organizational skills.
