Job Position: School Psychologist
Location: Winchester, VA
Birch Agency is seeking dedicated School Psychologists to join a collaborative, student-focused school team in the Winchester, Virginia area. This full-time, in-person opportunity allows you to play a vital role in supporting students academic achievement as well as their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
Position Details:

Role: School Psychologist

Setting: School-based / In-person (1 middle school or 1 preschool)

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour days

Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct student screenings, psychoeducational evaluations, and assessments

Monitor student progress and support data-driven decision-making
-
Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs
-
Assess risk factors and provide academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
-
Provide individual and group counseling services as appropriate
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
-
Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
-
Attend IEP and eligibility meetings
-
Maintain compliance with state and school evaluation requirements
-
Complete thorough, accurate, and timely documentation and written reports
Qualifications:
-
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (preferred)

Active Virginia School Psychologist Certification (required)

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
