Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role serving K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist for a dynamic school setting near Woodburn, Oregon. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference while working in a supportive environment dedicated to student growth.

You’ll enjoy an engaging, hands-on position that offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, focusing exclusively on in-person services. With up to four openings available, you’ll collaborate with fellow professionals and enjoy the chance to work on a comprehensive caseload, providing exceptional therapy and support to students throughout the academic year. For those seeking year-round impact, summer work—including Summer School and Jumpstart Kindergarten in July—is also available.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapy license and Special Education (SPED) certification for Oregon
  • Practical experience in a school-based OT setting, preferably serving K-12 students
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators and families
  • Professional references: Contact information for your three most recent supervisors is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, in-person occupational therapy to K-12 students according to their individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and create targeted intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to IEP team meetings
  • Participate in summer programming if interested, expanding your impact beyond the traditional school year

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire growth and independence in young learners while advancing your own skills and career in a welcoming school community. If you thrive in interactive environments and are motivated to help students reach their full potential, we encourage you to apply today!
