Job DescriptionPart-Time Lifeguard - Morning ShiftLocation: Clear Lake, IASchedule: Morning Shift | 5:30 AM-12:00 PM | Part-TimeStart Your Day Making a DifferenceAt One Vision, our Wellness Center is more than a pool-it's a place where community members, Glen Oaks residents, and individuals receiving services come together to stay active, build connections, and enjoy recreational opportunities.We're looking for a dependable and motivated Morning Lifeguard to help create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who starts their day at the Wellness Center.If you're an early riser looking for meaningful part-time work that leaves your afternoons and evenings open, this could be a great fit.What You'll DoAs a Lifeguard, you'll help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits the Wellness Center. Your responsibilities will include:Monitoring pool and spa areas to maintain a safe environmentPerforming routine water testing and documenting resultsMaintaining cleanliness throughout the pool, locker rooms, and common areasBuilding positive relationships with members, guests, and visitorsAssisting with swim lessons, programs, and special events as scheduledResponding appropriately to emergencies and safety concernsSupporting daily Wellness Center operations as neededWhat Makes You a Great FitYou'll thrive in this role if you are:✔ Dependable and safety-focused✔ An early riser who enjoys getting a head start on the day✔ Friendly and customer-service oriented✔ Comfortable working independently and taking initiative✔ Looking for meaningful part-time work in a community-centered environmentQualificationsMust be at least 16 years oldStrong swimming abilities, including:Swimming 300 yards using freestyle and breaststrokeTreading water for 2 minutes without using handsRetrieving a 10-pound object from 7-10 feet of water and returning it within required time standardsWillingness to complete Lifeguard Certification, CPR, and First Aid trainingPrevious experience working with or supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred but not requiredMust pass required background checks and screeningsNo lifeguard certification? No problem.
