At 2020 Exhibits, we create custom made exhibits and booth rentals for trade shows and events. We specialize in designing, fabricating, installing and dismantling large- scale custom and rental exhibits, branded corporate interiors, and engaging environments worldwide.
We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and supporting daily accounting operations. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies while providing reliable financial information to management. The Staff Accountant will be assigned a primary concentration in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable depending on demonstrated experience, while contributing to broader accounting operations. This position will report to the Controller and assist the accounting team as needed.

Location: Onsite
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Manage high volume of accounts payable / accounts receivable accurately and efficiently
- Analyze variances and resolve discrepancies
- Work with vendors/clients to manage accounts and balances
- Process payments timely
- Respond timely to information requests
- Support preparation of financial statements and reports
- Assist with audits and respond to auditor requests
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks required
- Incredibly accurate and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task, change priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in accounting is a plus
- Ability to assume responsibility for completion of projects in the absence of direct supervision
