Job title : Inventory Clerk
Client : Aerospace Industry
Duration : 3 months
Location : Lauderdale, FL 33309
Shift : 1st Shift – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• The Contractor, Inventory Clerk, plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely handling, moving, and storing both hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• This temporary role is focused on maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting production and shipping needs, and ensuring the integrity of inventory through regular cycle counts and audits.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems and cycle counting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling procedures is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Contingent Worker Notice:
• The duration of assignment may vary based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport materials and goods between designated warehouse locations.
• Pull and verify materials listed on production orders, including pick tickets for repair, sales, and kitting.
• Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of inventory items.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Identify, label, and record inventory locations, report shortages and discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances to support perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, verify quantity and quality, and match against purchase orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
