Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – South Carolina

Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week; every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Adult critical care environment in an 800-bed hospital with Trauma Level I experience
• Comprehensive respiratory modalities including mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
• Work with advanced equipment including Servo U ventilators and Epic charting system
• Support from interdisciplinary teams including Rapid Response Teams and Respiratory Services
• 36-hour orientation with paid pre-assignment module completion (up to 16 hours)
• First-time travelers welcome with comprehensive onboarding support

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency in adult critical care work settings, mechanical ventilation weaning, and troubleshooting
• Experience with full range of respiratory medications and delivery systems
• Competency in airway management, extubation, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene
• Must meet distance requirements: 50+ miles from contracted campus for night shift RRT positions
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
