Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Analyst to join our Fleet & Delivery Team and support optimizing our Delivery business performance. The ideal candidate will work closely and partner with Senior Leaders across numerous Field and Field Support functions (Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Field Operations, Sales, etc.) by providing actionable insights to fuel improved Delivery business performance. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Fleet & Delivery Strategy and will be based out of our headquarters in Roswell, GA with the ability to work in office, hybrid, or remote.
What you'll do:
- Analyze delivery revenue, expenses, operational performance to provide actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders driving Delivery business performance
- Interpret, analyze, and design P&L performance management tools and techniques
- Identify and implement best practices for Financial & Operational analysis, cost control, and performance management
- Support configuration, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Supply Chain technologies (Delivery/Routing Technology)
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics to identify risks and opportunities for optimization
- Manage Supply Chain projects as required internally with the Supply Chain leadership team
- Utilize Supply Chain engineering methods to understand, predict, and/or improve supply chain operations and efficiencies. Provide consistent, relevant, and accurate data analysis and support supply chain decisions using data driven methods.
- Support large scale initiatives, working cross functionally to prepare detailed impact analysis
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for investments in fleet assets, delivery resources, fulfillment infrastructure, technology, and process improvements
- Support Supply Chain financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or business expansion or consolidation efforts
- Establish, and monitor KPI’s for Financial & Operational performance and provide actionable insights to cross functional business partners
- Provide logistical analytics, reporting and analysis for perpetual evaluation of network optimization, productivity, cost control, customer service and delivery revenue.
- Provide recommendations to Functional and Field leadership teams based on Supply Chain modelling outputs
- Develop and manage financial updates for monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables regarding Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews and Strategic Initiative performance.
Estimated starting pay:
- $70,232-$91,413 annual
Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Financial Analysis, with at least 1 year in a Senior Analyst role
- Experience within the Wholesale or Industrial Distribution sector is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills required, experience with: BI tools (Power BI, or Tableau), SQL, and ERP systems a plus
- Experience with Financial Planning Software (Microsoft Dynamics AX, Planful (Host Analytics) or similar scale productions required
- Experience implementing, managing, configuring, or testing a Delivery Routing platforms (DispatchTrack or other SaaS products preferred) is a plus
- Experience in private fleet management or operations preferred
- A track record of providing superior customer service and exceeding expectations
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills for presenting financial & operational insights to leadership
- Proven ability to communicate across multiple levels within an organization
