Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
\n• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 for both day and night shifts
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Minimum of 2 holidays required within contract timeframe
\n• Floating required to Med/Surg or ICU to take PCU acuity patients
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• Must be competent in arterial lines
\n• Required to titrate drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
\n• Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• One day of unit-specific orientation provided
\n• Must pass open book exam on Wednesdays during orientation with 90% score requirement
\n• Care for adult patients with cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer diagnosis, vascular conditions, sepsis, respiratory issues, stroke, post stent, post pacer placement, and renal failure
\n• Work with overhead lifts, portable lifts, vein finders, and bladder scanners
\n• EPIC charting system used
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
\n• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
\n• Driver's license required at submittal
\n• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
