\n\nQualifications / Job Requirements\n

- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona\n
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification\n
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA; 2+ years of acute inpatient rehab experience preferred\n
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to document treatment sessions and outcomes accurately\n
- Experience with therapeutic interventions such as gait training, therapeutic exercise, mobility and transfer training preferred\n

- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering patient treatments and managing referred patients in an inpatient acute rehab setting\n
- Perform therapeutic interventions under PT direction, including gait training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and mobility training\n
- Document treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes in the medical record; support discharge planning\n
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans, safety, and home exercise programs\n
- Participate in administrative duties, quality improvement projects, and interdisciplinary team meetings\n
- Pursue ongoing professional growth and development to maintain best practices in inpatient physical therapy\n
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the rehab team and patient care goals\n
