We are looking for a full time or part time Bilingual Developmental Specialist /Developmental Specialist to join our Early Intervention Program serving the Lowell area. Come grow with us!
Responsibilities:
- Provide Early Intervention (EI) services in the Greater Lowell area for children ages 0–3 with or at risk of developmental delays.
- Participate in creating and implementing Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
- Deliver home- and center-based services using parent coaching and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and community service providers.
What you bring:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in child development, education, or related field (minimum 4 approved courses on infants/toddlers/families).
- Bilingual in Portuguese and/or Haitian-Creole preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in pediatric or early childhood settings; experience with developmental delays preferred.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and disabilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and uphold agency mission.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance for travel.
- Must pass criminal background and sex offender screening.
